Many of us don’t know that one can access their Facebook accounts with 3 different variant of their passwords. Its quite unusual when it comes to security. But this is true one can login to a facebook account with 3 passwords. For eg:
Lets say your facebook password is
MySTRONGpassWord
Then you can access your facebook account with
Password 1:
mySTRONGpassWord
Password 2:
MYstrongPASSwORD
Password 3:
MySTRONGpassWord
A little EXPLANATION :
Password 1: THE ORIGINAL PASSWORD
It needs no explanation. It is suppose to work as you have set this as your password. If you’ve set your password as “myRandomPASS” for sure you’ll be able to login by providing it.
Password 2: SWITCHING THE CASE OF FROM UPPERCASE TO LOWERCASE AND VICE-VERSA
This one is little unusual. If you have set your password to “myRandomPASS” for some reasons facebook will let you in even if the case is reversed. that means you’ll be able to log into your Facebook account even if you enter your password “MYrANDOMpass” switching uppercase letters to lowercase letters and vice-versa will get you through.
Password 3: 1st LETTER CAPITAL
Again if your password is “myRandomPASS” you’ll be able to login with password “MyRandomPASS” that means the case of first letter doesn’t matter at all.
For some of you out there this might not worth knowing and not a huge deal, but anyone who understands the risk involved in letting the users login with not exactly the same password they used while signing up can understand it. If you really are a tech savvy the information in itself will give you the satisfaction that you look out each day.
